“GET PRACTICAL SKILLS FOR FUTURE ENTREPRENEURS“

Are you tempted to work in a family business or would you like to try entrepreneurship yourself? Do you want to understand economics and master the company’s accounting? Do you have an entrepreneurial nature and like to interact with people? Are you interested in how big a role marketing plays  in the success of a company? The ideal choice is BUSINESS CREATIVITY.

This is a four-year course of study culminating in a Maturita exam certificate with a wide range of applications on the job market. During your studies, you will gain knowledge of two world languages, including professional terminology, learn to use computer technology, become familiar with economic issues, marketing and management and accounting. As a successful graduate you can start your own company, work in all areas of the national economy, industry, banking, insurance, services, tourism, foreign and domestic trade.

If you want to become independent right after school, you can start working as an assistant or company receptionist. If you enjoy your studies, there is nothing to stop you from continuing them at a university with a focus on economics or marketing, for example in Prague, Liberec or Ústí nad Labem.

EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS

You will attend meetings with clients, authorities or perhaps tax advisors. You should be able to find common ground with everyone, even if it’s sometimes not easy.

LIFELONG LEARNING

The field of economics and business is very fluid. To succeed, you need to keep up to date with the latest information, including changes in the law, and continuously update your education.

FOREIGN LANGUAGES

In order to be able to conduct thorough analysis of foreign markets and to communicate with representatives of foreign companies, you need to know foreign languages – English and German or French.

MODERN SOFTWARE

An essential part of your job will definitely be MS Office software package, this includes knowledge of accounting programs. If you work for more than one company, you will learn the programs they use.

LOGICAL THINKING

You must be able to work with data, graphs, numbers and navigate information. You should be able to think of ways to save the company costs and in turn increase sales and profits.

TIME MANAGEMENT

You must know the priorities of work and be able to make a work plan, i.e. have excellent time management skills.
